Park Visits

This morning we ventured out into the community again and visited the local reserve on Macquarie Grove. While on our way, the children observed some birds nearby which led to a discussion about the life cycle of a bird. When we arrived at the reserve, the children assisted their educators to set up some gross motor activities including an obstacle course, egg and spoon races, a game of soccer and running races. After our physical activities, some children sat in the shade with their educators and read some stories before heading back to the centre.
