Today the Ocean Adventurers made their own perfume. Using a mortar and pestle, the children were able to explore the scents created when mixing different natural herbs and essences together. This learning experience is in alignment with the current learning project within the room and together with exploring their senses, provided the children with the opportunity to experience cause and effect first hand.
